About the Owner

My name is Taylor Phillips. I am the proud owner of Great White North Pet Care! I've had a passion for animals since I was a little girl. I have been fortunate enough to be raised around all sorts of animals, ranging from hamsters to lizards, all the way to donkeys. I have had tons of experience caring for various animals and am always looking for a new adventure with a new pet friend.

I currently foster small animals through the local Abbotsford SPCA and Circle F Horse Rescue as an opportunity to help and care for beautiful creatures while they wait to go up for adoption to their new homes. Anyone interested in animal adoption can find the available pets on PetFinder.com and search at their local SPCA or nearest rescue.

While living in Calgary, AB, I volunteered with another local animal rescue, AARCS - Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society. It's the place that I adopted my dog from. While volunteering here, I performed several roles, including office work, pet care, and inventory support.

We offer different options to provide your pet with the most attentive and professional care, including animal sitting and boarding, dog walking, drop-in visits & others.

We provide services for dogs & cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, gerbils, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets, fish, lizards, and spiders.*

Check out our gallery to see the different enclosure options and some pets in our care!

My grandfather and I adopted a puppy in June 2015 - a sweet lab x American bulldog. She had already named Keoma after the town in Alberta; we decided to keep it.

She moved out to BC last year, and we celebrated her 8th birthday this past January.

About the Owners Guinea Pigs

I moved out to Langley, BC, in December 2019 to be with the love of my life. In just a few months, I rescued my first pair of guinea pigs, two males, Bentley & Reggie. When they came into my life, it sparked an even deeper passion for animals - which I didn't think was possible. They live in a 2x6 c&c cage.

After conducting massive research and creating a safe environment for a female herd, I slowly integrated six female guinea pigs (Cheddar, Cheese, Spearmint, Peppermint, Wintergreen, and Skyler). They all live in 2 attached 2x6 c&c cages with much room for running around and zoomies.

As of January 6th, 2021, we added a new addition of Mowgli, a hamster! Very excited for this new buddy to join the gang, as I haven't had a hamster in quite some time.

A friend of mine had an unfortunate event that resulted in her having one lone male - Bert. He is currently in quarantine until we can neuter him and place him with the girl herd.
